It features all their singles to date including three songs playlisted on BBC Radio 2,
Smooth Country, Absolute Country, Countryline Radio and BBC Local Radio. BBC
Radio 2 head of music says of First Time Flyers ‘this band ticks so many boxes for
us’. The band had an amazing three days at C2C 2025, opening up the BBC Radio 2
stage at Indigo venue and drawing the biggest crowd to date outside the Big Entrance
stage (an estimated 5000 people). Described by Radio 2’s Bob Harris as ‘the future of
UK Country Music’.
